You don't need the type of confidence that comes from fitting in. You need an unshakeable faith in knowing who you are and what you're here to do. Musings sent right to your inbox.

While it was just a TV show, that little speech at the beginning of the original Star Trek show really did do a good job of capturing our feelings about space. It is those feelings that drive our love of astronomy and our desire to learn more and more about it.
Ut fringilla erat id arcu gravida iaculis. Vivamus nec est tellus. Duis feugiat vulputate eros, in auctor augue pharetra non.
God is not a white man in heaven.
God is not out there, beyond reach.
God is not judging you.
God is not condemning you for being gay, transgender, black, or brown.
God is gay, transgender, black and brown.
And everything in between.
And then some.
God is infinite, and never-ending.
God is everywhere present and all-knowing.
God is everything.
God is you.
Reclaim your power.
Answer that Calling.
Do your Good in the world.
Be the presence of God
Damnit, we need you.
Because when you are the Presence of God, you are the presence of love, power, and justice.
When you are the Presence of God:
You cannot be a victim
You cannot be poor or powerless
You cannot be ugly or dumb
You cannot tolerate injustice or allow it to continue
Being the Presence of God does not mean changing who you are.
It means being more of who you are.
This is what I help you do.
1. A person who questions deeply the systems and structures that perpetuate scarcity, oppression, and inequality, and refuses to be taken hostage by the cultural conditioning of the day
2. One who seeks universal, spiritual truth and walks a path that is not readily accepted by mainstream standards
3. One who rises above self-interest and personal gain and stands in conviction with love, power, and justice
4. A badass motherfucker
I serve the Spiritual Nonconformist, the misfit, the misunderstood.
In other words, the changemaker.
I oppose the mainstream, pop-culture spirituality of today that perpetuates blind conformity to the dominating, oppressive structures of global corporate capitalism, and inadvertently trains us to be better consumers. I call it Consumer Spirituality and I wrote about it here.
My approach is based on New Thought teachings, Hermetic philosophy, and the wisdom passed down through the ages by Buddha, Jesus Christ, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
(And Chomsky. Can't forget Chomsky.)
As a Certified Professional Coach through ICF-Accredited Invite Change and Licensed New Thought Spiritual Practitioner from the Centers for Spiritual Living, for over ten years I have applied what I know about behavioral change and spiritual transformation to help clients create radical, nonconformist change in their lives. I’m a speaker, workshop leader, and creator of the Soul of Beauty Masterclass, and have coached and mentored (behind-the-scenes) on the set of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s motivational reality TV show called Wake Up Call, that aired nationally on TNT.
Chronically overweight and addicted to drugs, alcohol, and abusive relationships, I lived in the shadows of shame.
I was invisible, ugly, and unwanted. Society brushed me to the side and agreed that I don’t belong.
But something told me otherwise.
I’m not supposed to fit in.
I’m supposed to carve my own path.
Define my own beliefs.
Master my own superpowers.
Something told me I was a badass motherfucker, and I bet you are too.
You need an unshakeable faith in knowing who you are and what you’re here to do. The reason you don’t feel confident is because you don’t fit the existing order.
And spiritual nonconformists never do.
It's time to deprogram the cultural conditioning that has convinced us we are powerless, and dismantle the flawed and insidious belief that we must change ourselves - or conform - or buy something - in order to be ok.
It’s time to reclaim our power and develop the social consciousness that is necessary to advance humanity forward while creating the life, career, health, and relationships that are in alignment with our highest calling.
We must no longer be victim to the world of circumstances outside of us, we must create our lives, and our future, with the Divinity within us.
And this is our work, together.
